Get Your “Festive” on at East Lansing’s Winter Glow Dec. 3
The 16th annual Winter Glow from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 is a rustic way to start the winter holidays. Circle around the Ann Street Plaza, Fountain Square and inside the East Lansing Marriott (to catch a little warmth) for sleigh rides, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, ingenious ice carving by Miller Ice Sculptures and marshmallow roasting.
An outdoor farmers’ market will feature Jenny’s Sweets and treats, Small House, Beagle’s Café and Bakery, Droscha Sugarbush, the Cheese People of Grand Rapids, 45th Parallel Pickle and Clothing Company, Good Eats Diva, Rust Belt Roastery, Applegate Honey and Wooden Shoe Herb Farm.
Engage in family-friendly activities and games, wander as a caroler with The Steiner Chorale, listen to music in the Jingle Jam heated tent, as you sip hot chocolate.
Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus is at 3 p.m. for a modest cost. Otherwise, Winter Glow is free.
Winter Glow is sponsored by the East Lansing Downtown Management Board. Park in one of downtown East Lansing’s garages or in Lot 1.
